I have two big hobbies that I really enjoy: cooking and cycling. I’ve been cooking since I was tall enough to see the stovetop. I have always loved it and when I was young I wanted to go to culinary school. I didn’t end up following that path but I have worked as a cook in professional kitchens. In my own kitchen I love cooking different ethnic foods, particularly Asian and Mexican food. I also go through phases where I cook the same thing for weeks until I figure it out. Like artisan bread! So good!!

I took up cycling in 2012 to participate in the AIDS Lifecycle which is a 545 mile bike ride from SF to LA. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who can commit the time and energy required to train for it. And it’s an amazing cause.
